Knowing God's Will by Blaine Smith is a book I read a few years ago, but I still consider it one of the best guidance books for mature Christians (outside of the Bible, of course).

What Christian book/author do you recommend?

I am reading Cure for the Common Life by Max Lucado. This book shows that God has a unique purpose for each of us, and if we are living our best for God--nothing else matters.
This book takes a step-by-step approach to helping the reader discover strengths and talents in their personality. Lucado reasons that God gave us those talents and he must have a plan in mind for how we can use them. It's a great book for college students or anyone looking for meaning in their life.
